Renter.... NEVER, well maybe just this once!

I would have never thought of renting a lens... but now that I'm shooting so many weddings and supporting my family it's hard for me to buy the tools/toys that I need to get the results I really want to get. I have stumbled upon a company out of ATL that rents just about every Canon lens ever to hit the market. I can't wait to get my hands on this lens for my upcoming wedding this weekend. Talk about possibilities! For a photographer a fast lens like the EF 85mm f/1.2 L II is an essential "available light" lens. I love shooting with my 50 f/1.4 but it's no 85mm. We'll see what comes of this $100 rental for the week, good things I hope!!!

Justin,

Hope you enjoyed shooting the 85mm! It is one of our favorite to shoot during low light situations (dark receptions is where we use it the most). Available light beats flash anyday. If you use it wisely I should say. Flash is a must at times when the possible shooting available light is amazing!!!! We have had the lens for almost a year (in June) and love it! One of the next lens to buy is the 50mm 1.2
